⁴ And Joseph also ascended from Galilee out of a town called Nazareth, into Judea to the city of David which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David, ⁵ to be taxed with Mary, his espoused wife, who was with child.

⁶ And it came to pass while they were there that her time came to be delivered.
